Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the use of IT solution services ('Services') provided by POLYGLOTSOFT Inc. ('Company').
Article 2 (Definitions)
- 'Services' refers to online services related to software development, artificial intelligence, smart factory, and logistics automation provided by the Company.
- 'Member' refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement with the Company and uses the Services.
- 'Content' refers to information such as technical blogs, resource library, and newsletters provided through the Services.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)
- These Terms apply to all Members who wish to use the Services.
- The Company may modify the Terms when necessary, and the modified Terms will be announced through notices.
- Members who do not agree to the modified Terms may discontinue use and withdraw from the service.
Article 4 (Content of Services)
The Company provides the following services.
- Software development services (SI, SM, Consulting)
- Artificial intelligence solutions (Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Generative AI)
- Smart factory solutions (MES, IoT, Predictive Maintenance)
- Logistics automation solutions (WMS, WCS, AGV/AMR Control)
- Information services including technical blogs, resource library, and newsletters
Article 5 (Formation of Service Agreement)
- The service agreement is established when a member agrees to the Terms and completes registration.
- The Company may reject registration in the following cases: false information, use of others' information, or other violations.
- Members must promptly update their information if it changes after registration.
Article 6 (Obligations of Members)
Members must comply with the following.
- Do not collect or use others' personal information without authorization
- Do not engage in illegal activities using the Services
- Do not interfere with the stable operation of the Services
- Do not use the Services for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Company
- Comply with applicable laws and these Terms
Article 7 (Obligations of the Company)
- The Company complies with applicable laws and strives to provide continuous and stable services.
- The Company protects members' personal information and publishes and complies with its Privacy Policy.
- The Company makes every effort to promptly restore services in case of disruptions.
Article 8 (Service Modification and Suspension)
- The Company may modify service content for improvement purposes.
- Services may be temporarily suspended due to force majeure, system failures, or other unavoidable circumstances.
- Changes or suspensions will be announced in advance.
Article 9 (Copyright)
- Copyright of content provided through the Services belongs to the Company.
- Members may use content for personal use only; unauthorized reproduction and distribution is prohibited.
- Rights to content posted by members on the Services belong to the respective member.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is exempt from liability when unable to provide services due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or telecommunications provider service interruptions.
- The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by the member's own fault.
- The Company does not guarantee the profits that members expect from using the Services.
Article 11 (Payment)
- The Company provides the following payment methods for subscription development and maintenance (SM) services.
- Recurring monthly payment: Automatically charged monthly by registering a billing key.
- Prepaid payment: Available in 1-month, 3-month, or 6-month terms.
- Payment amounts are determined by the selected subscription plan and payment period.
- For recurring monthly payments, charges are billed on the same date each month based on the initial payment date.
- All payment transactions are processed in Korean Won (KRW).
Article 12 (Subscription Cancellation and Refund)
- Members may cancel their subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the service remains available until the end of the current billing period.
- When canceling a recurring monthly subscription, automatic payments stop from the next billing date. No refund is provided for the remaining period.
- Refunds for prepaid payments are processed according to the following criteria.
- Before service commencement: Full refund.
- After service commencement: The remaining balance is refunded after deducting the amount for the period used (monthly unit price × months used).
- Months used are not prorated; any month in which even one day of service was used counts as one full month.
- Refund requests can be submitted via customer support (contact@polyglotsoft.dev) or KakaoTalk channel.
- Refund processing is completed within 7 business days from the date of request.
- Refunds may be restricted in the following cases.
- When development has been completed and deliverables have been provided.
- When service use has been restricted due to the member's own fault.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms are effective from January 1, 2025. (Revised February 25, 2026)
